Clientary supports custom SMTP so you can switch to your own email or SMTP servers under your Clientary Account Settings page. This has the benefits of making sure your emails are sent from your identity and can have benefits for deliverability.
Google Mail
If you using Google Mail as your primary email, you can connect Clientary through Google through a permission prompt. Once permissions are granted, Clientary will send client-facing emails from your Google email address.
Custom SMTP Authentication
If you do not use Google Mail, you can connect Clientary to any generic email server through SMTP. In order to properly integrate, you'll need to look for the SMTP authentication details for your email provider.
